Merlot Red wine is the most common red wine made from only merlot. It’s unique for it fleshiness and softness- makes it an acquaintance wine for first time wine drinkers.

White wine

White wine is similar to red wine however; there is clear distinct difference that makes them stands different.

Their differences lies in the color of grapes they are produce from; white wine is produced from non-colored pulp of grape, also if the wine is fermented with or without the grape skin. For white wine- the grape skins, stems and seeds are extracted before fermentation.

On the flip side, red wine is fermented with the skins, stems and seeds. However this does not in any way reduced the potency of white wine for health benefits because the pulp of the grape also contains other types of rich compounds in plant.

Research conducted in the university of Milan suggests that both grape skin and pulp are rich in antioxidants however, the white skin do not contain anthocyanins- part of the classification of antioxidants called polyphenols nevertheless it contains other types of polyphenols that are good for health.
